Just register, and create a server account.
When you make a server account go into your WoW folder in your computer and open REALMLIST.WTF with Notepad, when you have it opened delete the part that says logon.worldofwarcraft.com or whatever (save that information if you want to play on official servers) and replace it with beyond.servegame.com
All you need for this is Burning Crusade and normal WoW installed and fully patched.
What's great about this is you can alternate between official servers and fun servers!

Actually, there is only a couple of devastating bugs, the rest are just little annoying ones.
The devastating ones being that Mages can't slow at all, and when you get stunned you are stunned until you die.
And it almost never lags or crashes.

LouCypher 02-12-2008, 08:56 AM I've never played on an instant 70 realm but I've played on many "funserver" realms. "blizzlike" is so boring and slow I don't see how anybody wastes hours on retail grinding, farming, and taking days/weeks/months to level a character.
The bugs are bad, the bosses aren't always scripted, and some servers let players buy custom gear that is better than any legendary, ruining the game for non-donors.

Private servers are only fun until you realize it's private and everything is given for free. The point of wow is gaining things through work. The satisfaction of having duel warglaives and the ability to one shot illidan with the GM abilities just isn't fun.
Raiding with God Mode & cheats isn't raiding.
PVPing with devistating glitches and errors such as deathstunlocking isn't fun.
Private Servers are only fun for an hour, if that.
