I've had a few games where I had 60-70 kills and zero deaths. You have to take the center first and pick up as many lmgs as possible (for ammo), then you just wait it out and hope no one is smart enough to shoot through the walls or doesnt suicide marty you thus drawing you out. If you die once, you end up with like 10 deaths or something like that.

The downside is you never get more than one chopper/airstrike (I usually get it first anyway since I know exactly where to throw my initial frags).

Some people like using shotty for this map, but that doesnt make much sense to me. You want a continous stream of death for spawn camping, lots of ammo and minimizing the reloads. Lmg all the way

Screenshots of those scores or it didnt happen. I dont believe anyone doesnt die on Shipment unless they are playing people that are afk and still trying to figure out what the nade button is. Every time I spawn I am shooting through crates, and most other people are too. There is no hiding in them on any Shipment Ive ever played for more than a few seconds. Sooner or later you just run out of ammo and get caught picking up new weapons as well.

Also, Assault Rifle with Bando ftw. M16+bando+sp+di rips apart spawn points all game long if you are paying attention to where your players are moving and forcing them to spawn.

Eh people do the same strat, usually with 4-5 players on your team in the same center crate (which has an angle on a spawn point for kills). You won't die unless someoen explicitly comes deep into the crate and martys you out (and you have a barrel for cover if he only gets partially in), or if you run out of ammo (which is why its nice having teammates in there as well so you can leach their ammo).

Like I said, you won't die right at the beginning of the map for about 40 kills worth if you take it right, nor will airstrikes hit you. The counter is simply to shoot through the back of it. If you do die, then you take about 8-9 deaths from simple spawn point deaths. The corners of the map are killzones, and nothing iwll live more than a few seconds in there, which is why its imperative you keep moving towards the center.

I camp the corner and rarely die on Shipment. Ive often only died 9-20 times with 80-164 kills chilling in the corner. Im usually hitting 30 streaks in corners and dying when I have to leave for ammo. Then, as you said, dying a lot from spawn nades. But I rarely die in corners of the map. Its all about paying attention to where your guys are going to know where the enemy is spawning. Youve always got 4 spawn points you can kill people with from one corner. Knowing when theyll spawn there ensures death.

LMG, stopping power. forget the grenades unless there's no one in sight. It's been my experience that it's generally a waste of time to launch grenades. LMG has so much ammo you rarely have to reload. I went on a 25 kill streak that I ended up reloading on though.

jersus christ PC shipment must suck

6v6 on 360 feels like a clusterfuck, a fuck clusterfuck but a clusterfuck

with 10 you would get 3 kills anytime you throw a grenade

Heh yeah 6v6 can be bad enough. I've played team tactical on shipment (3v3) and that was actually pretty fun. As far as grenades go on shipment I usually just throw them diagonally across the map so I've got less of a chance of getting shot while im looking up.

Actually it would have a blood splatter on it as every bone in your hand cracked and broke under the force of your own blow. Have you ever accidentally struck a CRT monitor with your hand? doesn't feel great mayng.

LCD's are thin as fuck though and I bet you could totally rip one apart with a single blow from your mighty fist!

Old thread but what's the max player size (that is typically seen) for console servers?

I was a bit curious last night to see how much of a clusterfuck a 48 player server would be so I joined one... then it went to shipment. It was a total waste of time but pretty funny. I was getting 3-6 kill streaks from spawning with the fire button held down. You were guaranteed to spawn with at least 2 bad guys in the same spot.

I think the map designer might have envisioned 3 v 3 or something..

Apparently, Shipment was a mistake. There is 3v3, 6v6, and 9v9 on console, although there is no Shipment on 9v9 and only 3v3 and 6v6 has it on certain gametypes.
