[warrior] [60-70] fury? MS is kind of slow

I bought a Blade of Misfortune for 60g and I'm using that at 61 on my warrior right now. I'm duoing to 70 with a mage, but MS still seems retardedly slow compared to his damage. I'm only white attacking for like 290 with my scrubby outlands greens and quest items, and barely doing any damage especially compared to his. Would fury be better for outlands leveling? Will the lack of +hit gear make it even worse than leveling as MS?

Oh, and what about the Ring of Blood quest at 65? If I go fury should I take the 2h axe from that quest and go back to MS at 65, or just stay fury until 70? Thanks. I'm a new scrubby warrior, <3 for help

70 is miles ahead anything but 70. No matter the gear (unless you're a very good geared 68+ :p)

I leveled 60-70 as arms, there's a lot of nice big 2handers and questable green/blue plate crit gear.

I don't think you'll see that much of a difference either way you go though.

I leveled as Arms/fury w/ imp. slam and it worked just fine. However, I also had the best available gear to start out and whored myself out for higher instances and a better 2h.

You should try fury--if you find you have the rage to continue your rotation +hit will probably not be a huge issue while you're leveling. You're being hit by the mobs so rage will probably not be a problem...just stack AP like a fat kid after cake and you should do alright.

i leveled as Prot from 60 to 70 and it only took like 2 weeks. shouldn't be a problem no matter what

Comparing a 70 mage to a 60ish anything is your problem. Fury requires that you have the gear to be able to back the spec up, as it were. You need to have a lot of crit, hit, and attack power (for your level) in order for it to perform well, where you only really need a lot of crit and AP for MS with a smallish amount of hit. If you're wearing greens you can't pull it off I don't think.

DW Fury from 60-70 is definately doable. I lvled my warrior that way, mostly in quest greens/blues. Fury is just so fun though, I couldn't see myself lvling arms.

There's a nice blue sword from honored honor hold/thrallmar you should pick up.

DW Fury seems a bit easier in my experience but im leveling right now as arms/fury with the green Halaa 2h sword. Its not really a prob with imp slam

At least two people misread his post so far. I almost did, but I caught it.

He said "duoing to 70 WITH a mage".

I dunno, when I did two warriors with Arms I never really felt it was slow. Probably because there were more than enough damage to bleed out with deep wounds. Combine that with large hits and crits and it worked fine. Of course when you miss more than once in a row it fuckin' sucks.

Because deep wounds ticks so much when you have high crit AMIRITE?!

Deep wounds and rend need to stack up to 5 times.

Also, speccing prot will get you into instances, so that's probably the fastest.

Yeah having uberhigh crit fucking sucks. You refresh your deep wounds debuff before it has ticked for dmg :p

Keeps flurry up though.

Do not spec prot. You don't need a prot spec to tank any instances in the game except for heroics.

My warrior is 62 currently and I'm having the same problem. My feral druid, mage, and warlock were 100x times faster killing things it seems.

I levelled pretty much the whole way as arms. It was easy.

He's leveling with a mage to reach 70 together. The mage is not level 70.

As far as speccing prot I'd only say do that if your a masochist and like subjecting yourself to mages that pull groups with pyroblast, etc.

This happened last time when I was leveling to 60. I found it tedious and then when I hit 60 and geared him the warrior was lots of fun.
