New Maps.

This is the post I’ve got some big news I know that everyone has been waiting on official confirmation of and I’m excited to let you guys know that we’re currently working on some official new maps for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare that are going to be available as DLC in the future. Last week I let you know that we were on the look out for the best community-made maps, but this week I can let the news out that we’re working on official IW-made maps of our own as well behind the scenes.

These new maps will be adding even more variety to the online multiplayer of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and I’m excited to gradually share more details regarding the new maps as we progress. So keep your eyes tuned to the blog as I’m going to be sharing sneak peek details and insights on what you can expect as we get further and further along with the DLC.

I figured they would try to make a big deal out of all of this. But the truth is by the time they get the game all patches up and new content out there will be other games out (RBV2 and GTA5) that will keep my attention. I saw that they said they haven't even sent the patch back to microsoft for another try yet.

Glad they are including all of this, but I'm sure the DLC will cost some money, and I'm not sure if I would be willing to spend any money on a game I'm not not even planning on playing much anymore.

I will probably only be playing RB6V2 as well when it first comes out, although I like CoD4 better than the first RB6V. Itll have to be a really bad ass game to keep me pulled away from CoD4. March 11th! Cant wait.

They are fixing all the issues for 360 in the upcoming patch if they would hurry up fixing the host migration.

i dont really notice any issues for 360

how much have past map packs cost, like the halo one?

Hope they are releasing PC maps as well, be nice. be nice as well to add a 1 new weapon for each class too.

12 bucks for maps jesus christ

its some mid range number

i got totally fucked because i had like 200 points left (wasted money) and you can only buy MS points in bundles:

500 = 6.25
1000 = 12.50

it was like 800 and i had to buy the 12.50 to actually get the DLC. its a fucking scam

ill just watch cheapassgamer somebody posted when I got my xbox they have deals every now and then of links to probably stolen cards for cheap.

Im wondering if any peeps are making custom maps yet.
