Onyxia is the new Tichondrius!jordanthug 02-05-2008, 01:37 AM im looking to reroll so i can raid somewhere. This is a group of people that enjoy pvp and pve and but don't put a massive focus on either, there are a lot of people that were serious raiders but don't want to do that again, and we also have people just want to pvp. It is a good group of people that want to play the game for fun instead of being pressured in being server first. It more or less means we don't have enough time to pound our heads on a boss for 3 hours and 20 wipes. jordanthug 02-05-2008, 11:26 AM That's perfect for me, I quit raiding with my old guild because I couldn't stand the 5 night raid scheduele anymore, it was killing me. Just let me know any classes you absolutely need, except for mage/spriest. been there, done that. I can do anything. So do you need a lock? Blotter 02-05-2008, 01:27 PM thats good enough for me, i have a life and a job so 6 hour raids arent doable for me, but I'd like to see end game content anyway. So do you need a lock? No, we do not need another lock, but theres a good chance we could still use you. We have about 2 full-timers, + 1 who just raids, + 1-2 more looking to join. 25mans haven't started so its TBD how things will settle. People flake, play other classes, or have shit come up... DeadlyRabbit 02-05-2008, 01:58 PM Like Blotter said it is hard to tell right now what we need, the number of any one class might look good but when it comes to raid time and only one person from that class is consistent then we are going to need more of that class. We have only done Gruuls for 25 mans which is a pretty basic setup and we have done it with 23 people without a issue, if we were well into 25 mans were constantly sitting around saying "We could use one more lock" it would be easy. ZA is very restrictive with most fights needing a offtank and 3 healers it limits the space to only the best 5 dps we can get, people think they are going to get in the ZA groups as easy as kara but you can't bring somebody that is lacking in gear in there. So we can't judge based on ZA because we always have people that want to go sitting, the restricted setup is probably one of the reasons it is on a 3 day reset timer. We will probably know better in the next few weeks as things are worked out with the people that transfered. jordanthug 02-05-2008, 02:26 PM I'll roll a tank probably. Prot warrior i think AdreNaLiNe 02-05-2008, 04:09 PM That's perfect for me, I quit raiding with my old guild because I couldn't stand the 5 night raid scheduele anymore, it was killing me. If you really want to know: full time prot paly full time prot warrior FOURSTAR 02-05-2008, 05:26 PM I can start tanking on my Warrior, but his gear is absolute shit (dungeon blues and a few Kara epics). That, and hes a Troll :( Either way I don't mind, running Kara again w/ my tank would be kinda fun. StarZ 02-26-2008, 10:32 PM how's raiding on Onyxia going for you guys? Smaqaho 02-26-2008, 11:47 PM how's raiding on Onyxia going for you guys? The server's pretty dead and quiet being low pop. Raiding-wise they've gone from just running 1 kara group with alot sitting out to running 2 solid groups a week plus atleast 1 ZA. TK they dropped Loot Reaver and made a dent on Al'ar before moving onto SSC where they've also killed 1.5 bosses. That's 2 weeks' progression, not bad really considering only about 2/3 of the guild is geared at t5 level. I brought my alt over and really the server isn't bad. Running organized bg groups is a waste of time I've found, most of the server has little clue how we've played WSG and AB on bg9 for the last 3 years so it's like starting from scratch again. I've farmed about 2k in ore the last 2 weeks since transferring, few people farm but a ton of people buy :P MistaKe 02-26-2008, 11:52 PM Running organized bg groups is a waste of time I've found, most of the server has little clue how we've played WSG and AB on bg9 for the last 3 years so it's like starting from scratch again. ..let me know when some BGs get going back on Tich. Full S3/T6 paladin looking for honor and good times. Punisher 02-27-2008, 12:05 AM a few FTM is on onyxia also loto 02-27-2008, 12:16 AM that's FTM? i thought you guys played on staghelm/alliance Punisher 02-27-2008, 01:34 AM they still play on stag :) Feannag 02-27-2008, 01:31 PM Hopefully Onyxia doesn't end up like Ghostlands. My friends and I transfered our Normal toons there because we were all on high-pop realms that would allow the free transfer. 2 months later Ghostlands is now locked and full and they're even doing free transfers OFF Ghostlands to other realms. AdreNaLiNe 02-27-2008, 01:40 PM Yea, we one shotted Morogrim last night when we had a solid group. We did two attempts on him before that. As long as we can keep making progression, I think the guild will be in good shape. Our biggest problem is people leaving for RL stuff so far. Swamp Kitten 02-27-2008, 01:41 PM I transferred to Retaliation to take a break and play with some RL friends (holy shit it's awful, DO NOT transfer here) and ended up finding the biggest concentration of stupid I've ever seen. I was hoping Ghostlands would bring in some quality players to the BG, but I've only run into maybe 3 or 4 quality PvPers from both horde and alliance :/ | ||
