Airstrike Domination

I think yesterday i set a personal record for most Airstrike's on countdown. 7 airstrikes that racked up 80+ kills including 4 of 7 choppers that lasted giving me 25 more kills. TDM score was 5000-974 when it was all said and done.

Are airstrikes & Choppers overkill in this game?

In the right situation? definitely.

I do that on Shipment. I run around with an auto-shotty and stopping power. I'll run around dying for a bit, kill a few people, get a run going, then drop an airstrike and off I go. I got from like 15-20 to 60-25 in no time and run like that for the rest of the map. I love it.

You should try playing with people from TW at once. Last night we had 5 copters backed up. I got mine at the beginning of the game and didnt get another the rest of the map. No airstrikes or UAVs in that time either since I had a copter waiting :-/ This happens very often too.

Ive gotten 10 airstrikes before on shipment though, usually when not playing with TW people. I can remember getting probably over 10 one game where I ended up 164-12.

The absurdity of this comes in pubs, where its actually better to suicide than get an extra kill and get chopper f'd.

I've played entire maps where I purposefully limit the amount of kills my airstrike will get (eg 4 or something like that) so I can keep repopping them at will.
