lets talk C4

I just started using it but the only thing i can think of doing with it is planting it by a doorway/walkway then wait around for someone to walk by it and blow it up. Doesn't seem like the greatest use of my ingame time. what are other strategies for using C4?

Its pretty much worthless unless you like sitting back doing nothing and hoping someone walks over it. You can get some easy kills with it on domination and HQ sometimes though, although its not worth the loss of bandolier or 3 frag.

I was playing on a Shipment server. Some guy was planting C4 and then hiding in the little spaces between containers and blowing people up as they walked by. It was the most retarded thing I've ever seen.

I used to think it was completely useless, but I've been using it a lot more. Don't plant it and wait, that's retarded. It's really used best when someone's in a doorway or something and you're behind cover. 'Nades are risky if you don't cook it long enough because the guy can just run away or throw it back. Throw C4 and detonate it immediately. I've been getting a lot of kills this way. But yeah, I only use it until I unlock 3 frags usually.

No, thats because I like shooting people in the ass. Some of them are smart though and shoot me before they blow up. :(

I play with C4 sometimes. Most of the time I don't plant it, I will just toss it in a room and explode it, or if I know someone is camping a hq ill throw it through a window and explode it

i figured out one way to use c4 that is somewhat useful...when playing domination, plant the c4 on a flag that yo control then go about your business...when you hear the announncer guy says that that flag is being taken then blow it up.

On hardcore, I can't really think of a situation where C4 is better to use than say a claymore (eg claymore on flag).

On some servers they like to restrict the use of frags until a timepoint has been reached, so its actually worth it to go claymore as opposed to 3 frags

I assume they have HC Dom and HQ servers on pc? You can only play HC tdm and snd on console, unless you do a private match.

lol i gotta try that, as for C4 i have yet to use it.

you can hide them in bushes and shit near flags in domination or up against the HQ for some easy kills. I've only used C4 a handful of times though ;\

shipment on domination +c4 and sonic boom is fun

IIRC, double-tapping reload detonates C4 without you having to have the detonator selected.
