Searching for some TF2 action

So, I've been playing TF2 since its released and want some comp.

Before this I played T:V competively on BEML and TWL, which isnt saying much but hey poo on me I enjoyed ever match, pickup and pu. TWL ladder seems really lame with the class limits and shit.

Is there anything here that I can jump into?

I am mostly demoman. Then an often run with the heavy or medic.

I dunno, I have scrimed a ton.. and 2 medics and 2 ubers with good teams is so gay because of uber switching.

Personally, I prefer 6v6.

Nah, it's way more fun.

If your medic dies in 6 v 6, it's usually game over. Therefore it becomes a game of 'whack a medic', or VIP or whatever that gametype is where you protect the guy who can't really defend himself. That's pretty gay.

Whereas with the TWL rules of (2 of every class), if you have 2 medics, you can still uber and hold off the attacking team until your team respawns.

You just do something like have one medic that 'roams', then you have another medic that stays with a heavy or something on the point with uber. Then after you blow the uber on the heavy when the other team rushes, you switch off with the other medic, who now has uber so you can build your uber up and he can use it on the heavy.

I can see how 'unlimited' leagues would be kind of gay due to chain ubers though.

On the last match we had, the other team quit on the second round. I think it was because I was ubering scouts and they were just batting the shit out of the other team :(

TWL's scoring is gay though..... 30 minutes, highest round score :-|

I think we won like 11-2 on granary before they quit.
