Well I had a friend that sold a comparable but not as good mage for 650, so probably something close to 800 unless someone can convince me otherwise.

Season 3 just started and he does have 4/5 vengeful with like 1300ish arena points banked. Really doesn't get better than that if you want to play a mage.

So basically what I am doing is waiting for someone that wants to buy it, doing the transaction and then after everything checks out I will buy another wow account, transfer to whatever server the person wants the mage on and then rename it whatever the person wants it named.

Most of us are A) Cheap, B) Good at WoW, or C) Both.

None of those equate to buying $800 characters.

somebody can spend a little time and get all s1 gear. Is season 3 really worth $800. MAYBE if you had s3 weapon and or shoulders. Then again there are yuppies that probably would buy it for that much but here at TW we just laugh at you.

it's not that. People are telling you not to waste time trying to sell it on here simply because:

1) the abilities of the players allow them to get a character geared out fast
2) a bit of time (since people are cheap) will allow them to get all the pieces that you've gotten since there's no 1850/2100 requirement for them

The best bet for this kind of thing was ebay. Tons of people out there that have the (extra) money to blow on characters like this.

Your character is all about time, and the value of time for a lot of these losers on TW is nil, whereas you may find a buyer who wants to just shut their kid up or they don't have the time to gear out a character .

How often does this happen? Some random fucktard comes here trying to sell his EPIC account that is relatively easily attained, asking for some absurd price. After we all call them names and tell them how foolish they are, all of a sudden they post saying they sold it.
