Everyone just realize that they cant make no money? new legislation made it harder to buy in to poker online in america. not a big deal for any serious players but killed a lot of the casual fish you'd find that make poker so profitable. and i think people just got sick of poker on tv. i did anyway. Sipher77 12-21-2007, 09:28 PM i only play recreationally 1/2 nl and shit, but i have noticed i dont make some of the big scores like i did a year ago. Adroit 12-25-2007, 12:52 PM It's still big for those that care. It's really nitty now on the bigger sites though. In Vegas they have started to close poker rooms though, like at the Hilton, but in all reality the main ones are here to stay. Wynn, Venetian, Bellagio, Mirage etc. [SES]BaNsHee 12-25-2007, 03:25 PM I lost interest in internet poker. So sick of sitting around a comp for such long periods of time with noone to talk to. I randomly go to live events at casinos(going back to vegas jan 18th) and on rare occasion Ill play in a tourney online. I spend most of my free time playing 360 with friends or going out. I still watch some poker on TV, although I never watched a lot of it in the first place. Brasstax 12-29-2007, 10:04 PM I started playing $12 sngs on PS after a long time off. Placed second in one yesterday. I like to go to PS to fund an annual trip to vegas. I have done it the last two years and it would be nice to do it again. The last couple of years, I paid for all the travel/hotel from online poker and have made money at the poker rooms in vegas that paid for all entertainment, table games, meals, gifts, knick knacks etc and returned with a few hundred bucks in the pocket. I know this is not the norm but I am not complaining. Ekos 12-30-2007, 04:07 AM whats w/ all theese people claiming they win money from poker?? u no the house win's right.. Sipher77 12-30-2007, 08:30 PM the house always wins in the end (from rakes of course) but since you are actually playing other players its possible and in my opinion pretty easy to make something in poker. | ||
