Cursing engineers is always amusing.
It's like the pub curse. You go engie because no one else is doing it, place a turret in an effective spot and next thing you know there's 4 other engies with turrets right next to yours being entirely useless.
Ugh, I absolutely hate that shit too.
I also hate medics who think they know how to use ubers, but don't. Last night a medic ubered me, but stood way behind me instead of taking the sentry's knock back so I couldn't get close enough to take it out.
And I really hate it when we have a balanced group of people right after killing a group of the enemy, and no one but me moves forward. Like wtf are you waiting for?

One of my most hated things is when they have like 2-3 people on dustbowl and we have 8, yet those 8 stand back and try to pick off the 2-3 people when we could just rush and cap the point, instead the enemy respawns and kills us.. repeat...

Because no one wants to risk dying--dying is no fun. Waiting to respawn, then having to get back to the front lines, etc. But if someone on a pub would just call out a time for everyone to go in (e.g. 7:00 on the clock at the top), things would work themselves out. Unfortunately, some people will still hang back to wait and see what everyone else does before moving in. Which usually results in just a few rushing in and dying, reinforcing the problem even further.
Believe it or not you even see this kind of stupidity in competitive play. On the crappy teams, anyway.

It's not just anytime or hanging around though - I've ubered HWGs and Soldiers numerous times, only to have them back up/retreat. :rolleyes: I have to sternly remind them that they cannot be killed and that they need to move F-O-R-W-A-R-D when they're invincible.

Yes it was dust. We do scrims Tues/Wed nights, sometimes Thursday if you guys want to kick us around again sometimes soon :)
