We're the flavor of the week, they are always blaming everything on someone. It starts by one person saying "Joe_Schmoe is a faggot" and then 20 people chime in to say "Yeah he always sucked ass, ban him". It was Jon_Do and the Grove for awhile, then Richmen and the Ballas, then Richmen and the Vagos, then Papi and Vagos, now it's our turn.

One of the primary problems I see is this:

1. To kill someone, the best server-sanctioned way is to contract a hit on them with a hitman.

2. A hit may be contracted for any reason.

3. Any number of hits may be placed on a single individual.

4. Successful hits result in the victim losing 25% of the contract price.

5. Members of a gang may kill the hitman in retaliation if they witness this, but only once, then they must act as if the issue is resolved - anything else is considered "deathmatching."


Though gangs who have worked long and hard to rise to the top have earned their advantage, the current setup gives an obnoxious advantage to those who have millions to blow and can therefore have anyone on the server killed with impunity, hiding behind the safety offered by the current rules while their victims -- in this case, many who are newer players/gangs -- are drained constantly of resources and are unable to retaliate without being labled "deathmatchers," or completely draining all of their own remaining resources to contract hits that the reciprocal victims will simply laugh off.

If one is allowed to kill a hitman in retaliation only once, then must "forget/forgive/let go" of the reason he was killed, why should hitmen be allowed to accept 20 contracts in a row for the same person? Where is the "forget/forgive/let go" on the part of the person who hired this hitman?

Also, some would consider it "deathmatching" to kill on sight a specific hitman known to be targeting members of a gang, because you are supposed to have "forgotten" his previous offenses. Read that aloud, and tell me if it doesn't sound ludicrous.

The "deathmatching" charge gets thrown around a lot ... and I think often times unfairly, especially given the operational parameters of the server.

Side point - what if I paid another player $5k to kill someone? They are roleplaying a hitman, but it would be considered deathmatching by the server. The definition of deathmatching is too vague when it is something that you can be banned for.

Also, don't the cops repeatedly kill and arrest anyone they "don't like?" Shouldn't they "forget" after the first death? "parenthesis"
