i haven't played in 2 days (and only played for 2 days), so i don't know what's up w/ the gangs
i also didn't play long enough to know what odio/juke were like, aside from Rod being kicked during my 4hr stint in the tw gang

but why do you guys need a gang/skin to have fun in the game
you could just make a /g chat or whatever and be a group of hooligans
that way, nobody can tell you who you can or can't kill

Let's just do that - choose civilian skins with a theme ala the gangs from Warriors. We use /movespawn or whatever that command is to all spawn in one area and claim it as ours. Being in a 'licensed' gang had no real benefit to us anyway - claiming points is worth shit.

I'm not really sure where the roleplaying basis is for requiring gangs to apply and get approved for official status, and then pay someone to make a recruit official as well.

I vote for construction worker themes.

You could RP some WW2 reenactors who accidently get given real guns and go on a murderous cop killing rampage. By accident.

Jeff Fisher fabricated eight charges or so against me (don't get me wrong, I was breaking the law, I'm just innocent of 8/~11 charges that were pressed against me last night).


Quick question: Could Yakuza have paid Jeff Fisher to do that? Is money an incentive for cops in this game? Or do they get whatever they want for free? Also, Fisher was standing next to the jail as four of the Yakuzas were hosing me down. I kept telling him that they're murdering me, and he ignored it. Then they started spawn camping me (which is why I'm $21k in debt).

Don't get me wrong. I definitely committed a crime (I killed 7 Yakuzas because they kept fucking with me). Fisher just inflated my charges and stood by while Yakuza repeatedly killed me in jail. One thing you will definitely be able to tell is that he charged me with possession after I got out of jail. He didn't frisk me first, and you'll notice that I never went and obtained anything illegal.

i tried to do the whole 'log on for a final farewell blaze of glory' thing last night

but i crashed after 10 mins and couldn't be bothered - this thread is still great drama though

the OBVIOUS problem with the server is that all the gang members (TW included), cops AND admins are immature faggots :rainbow:

I like the majority of the Grove guys. They're super chill and they take care of their own. Alan Watts (a Grove) was showing me around last night. I ditched him after he started fucking with Cooter White, though. :heart: Cooter.

They were later camping in our spawn and I died as soon as I logged on, not sure if that was the login death bug, but it was the first time I got it while inside the club instead of under the map.

The cops are really ruining this game. I had a lot of fun. Like I said, I didn't have beef with anybody until last night.

Also, I suspect that Yakuza will start dropping by our spawn if I join BE. Those guys are really out to get me right now. I owned them pretty bad last night. They've definitely owned me more, but I got more points for creativity. :lol:
