Wasn't WAR supposed to be re-opening beta this month?

From what I hear, Beta will be ramping up about mid-month, with it going full swing in January. They'll be inviting the original beta testers back first, followed by the Guilds.

Some indications from some forum speculations is that as early as next week old beta testers may be invited back. Though some additional digging leads me to believe that an early january start is more likely from this quote.

Candidates MUST BE LOCAL to our Fairfax Studio, and available to start the 1st or 2nd week of January.

I really hope they nailed the core gameplay design and got the content flushed out mostly. They dont have much time to waste and if they open beta again, it better be something that can drag players away from ANY other game.

That's its real test.

It WAR beta testers stop playing WoW, TF2, etc or whatever it is that they whore... then it does what it must. If folks just kinda like it but it's even too buggy to play consistently, then it fails. If folks just kinda like it, but arent addicted, then it fails.

i'm in the beta, supposedly beta is up next week, but there really is no official wording. They give us updates every week about what they have added and it looks like they are really working hard, They add a ton of stuff each week that takes me like 30-60 minutes every week to read over everything. I got burned out fairly quickly in the last phase, but hopefully the new additions will make things better

I heard it was supposed to open up again on the 12th but they found some bugs and delayed it until they fix them.

Beta testing resumes next week with a special sneak peek at the new Dark Elf lands and careers.

just downloaded the new client and stuff, they said we can login sometime next week. yay :)

Theres other BE stuff too, such as the contests for GB 2, so Dac isn't the only one who may get stuff. That said, I got nothin.

I've pretty much given up on BE getting anything close to Beta access at this point. Dac has disappeared since about 2 months in. No guild has heard anything about the Contest 2 (and I doubt we will)...and even if they do look at them now, it's very doubtful we'll get anything for it. (the site hasn't been updated in 3 months, and the roster is broken)

Pretty much a free for all as of now.

I checked the warbeta site daily for a long long long time, but i stopped a while ago obviously. And these days it's just too frustrating.

(then again, here i am at 730 on a sunday checking into it)
