WoW arena tournament time...

Live from Sweden, world's largest LAN.

I missed day one, but whatever... here we go. This was invite-only and i think the top 8 teams from WSVG were invited.

Currently... a bunch of eurofag teams got raped in the first round yesterday. Today, it's:

[winners bracket] TurtleForce vs TurtlePower
[losers bracket] fnatic vs Pandemic

That will happen at around 11am EST (if schedule maintains) and then the grand final will be at like 1-2pm. I assume the schedule will get pushed back, but who knows.

They invited a team from Rampage that isn't even in the top 20 of the BG ever, and I don't even think they play together any more.

There are other teams on the BG that are 10x better than them.

Who?

They only invited the top 8 teams from WSVG.

None of those US teams are scrubs whatsoever and some of them dont play on "live" very seriously anymore, often on alts or playing on ptr.

The Huks team (EG)

They have been nowhere near top of the Rampage BG since season one. They started losing at the start of season 2 and stopped playing so the warlock could gear out his mage and they'd run cookie-cutter, but after that they still never got back to the top.

As far as 3v3 I don't think I've ever seen them in the top 20.

The same could be said for Pandemic on BG9. Their 3v3 didnt do well.

But i dont think anybody believes these pro teams' ratings in S2 represent them.

Note how I said they do poorly in both 3v3 and 5v5.

I believe that 10-20 teams would better represent the Rampage battlegroup than team EG does, in 3v3 and 5v5.
