Guild Bank Issue

A couple of e-friends and I had made a guild on my home Horde realm simply to keep people from shoving their charters in our faces, and when 2.3 hit I had some gold leftover to throw down for a tab for the guild bank. Makes it easier for us to do stuff, or so I thought.

My friends left some lockboxes in the bank for me to pick on my rogue, that's all well and good. I take it out of the bank, pop the lock, and put it back in. Apparently the bank system doesn't like that, as when I put it back in it was locked again. I took the box out a 2nd and 3rd time to find them upopened, only to find when I returned the box to the bank it would lock up again.

Anyone else notice this or see any odd issues with the guild bank.

I thought they changed it a while back so you couldn't do this by mail either, so I think it's intended for some reason.

Mail I could understand but a guild bank? I guess people are so retarded they'd let shady people into their guilds to steal their phat lootz out of lockboxes. Guess I'll just have to park my rogue in a convenient spot for on-the-fly picking.

You can do it the way we do it by mail now, which is to remove the item from the lockbox and send/place it back in the mail/bank.

Yep - can't mail unlocked boxes anymore. I just mail the item back.

Got an interesting update for ya.

So I look at the lockbox on my pally, and pull it out of the guild bank. Despite it saying locked inside the bank, in my packs it said opened. Friend in question just informed me she took it out of the bank and it was unlocked. So their little ploy doesn't seem to work in theory.

When i saw a naked level 1 head towards me on my old rogue, i would quickly vanish and hide somewhere.

My friend told me he stealths and spams trade with them lol, this new thing is going to increase this. At least some people give you pots/gold if you open their 20 lock boxes.
