...I'm thinking about coming back to WoW to pass the time until WAR comes out.
Anyone care enough to give me a rundown on the major changes in the last 6 months or so?
Lurking around on these forums, I see that level 1-60 has gotten a bit faster. Frankly, that's a large reason why I'm even considering it. I'm a casual player, but I had a 70 Feral Druid who I did a few Kara runs with until I got sick of the Raiding. Was thinking about picking up my Shadowpriest alt and taking her to 70, but I dunno.
Is it still possible to accomplish things in WoW by playing casually (1-2 hours a day max), or has Blizzard killed that (the xp move seems like a step in the right direction)?

This game is as casual as you can get.

yeah pretty much. solo to 60 in a few days if you play enough. its just about as kid friendly as they come.

I quit WoW, playing Hellgate atm. They've dumbed down the game. Everyone gets to 70 fast and everyone gets purples from Arena. I'd pass this by.

Im also picking up wow again while i wait for WAR. Any suggestions on servers? Probally just end up going to illidan again heh

Pretty much, and when people just want to grief/gank they don't need to raid at all to get the gear they need to do so. Two of my co-workers just discovered they both played WoW when I was discussing hunter mechanics with one. I keep my WoW talk to the few co-workers who also play down for this reason and what ensued was some weird raid discussion I had to listen to for a good 20 minutes.
If you like PvE and raiding, it's not hard to get play. If you like to beat up other players and fight in arenas, it's easy to do that too. If you get anymore casual with this game you probably would refuse to pay a monthly fee for it and even then there's private servers.
