[Addicted] So.. I'm renewing

Yeah, after almost 1 year of not playing WoW, I'm gonna try to hop back into it again. All of my chars are alliance, so I'm going to make a new horde char, but I have no idea what class/race to make, or what server I'll be going to. I've played every class to some extent (I was a RL pre-BC) so I can do whatever. Any tips on what classes are needed/powerful in endgame/PvP? I was thinking of making a Pally because that's what I played for 2 years and I was one of the best healadins on my server, but I dunno...

Anything but a pally, atm...

Good druids are in high demand.

pvp - well, hunters just got a buff, so they are viable... but over-represented in general.

locks are good, even after the "nerf".

pallies are great, but yeah, everyone has one.

I have fun on my rogue, but he kinda sucks at pvp.

Druids or shammies are interesting.

heh, druids and shammys, the only 2 classes ive never really played.. well i played druid to lvl 30 but that doesnt count

Someone told me they were going to eliminate the bonus from +healing that Drain Life got, but it looks to me like all they did was actually fix a bug where it wasn't getting reduced during Mortal Strike / Wound Poison

I played a Hunter in arena for a few months and after leveling a Warlock to 59, I can already tell that I have so much more potential to melt face as a lock.

Yeah the warlocks are QQ'ing over that, I think the MS/Wound one more though. God forbid their self-healing be susceptible to healing reduction effects.

So basically there's no change being made to Drain Life / Healing bonuses or whatever except for when you're MS'ed?

LOL my god..even playing a Warlock at the moment I would consider this a fix rather than a nerf.

finding a healer is always fucking impossible for level 70 5 mans

Resto Shaman are kicking ass right now I hear. With the new patch they can stack healing and just heal through all damage while the bonus +damage they get lets them own with shocks and lightning.

I think a BM/Aimed shot hunter would be sweet too. Beast Within + Aimed shot is neato. Too bad you can't get scattershot too. LoS in Arena will still be annoying but hunters rock in BGs and with S1 gear buyable with honor they will be fun to play at least as an alt.
