[Drum 'n' Bass] Im In Ur Bass

I worked on this over the weekend. FL Studio, first crack at doing distorted bass. I'm still polishing the track so let me know what changes I should make :) I may record an actual musician to replace the synth horns.

What does is sound like when you drop the bass line an octave? It sounds a little top heavy right now, with most the bass coming from the kick drum.

Maybe use the vocal samples a few more times throughout the main sections of the track.

Nice roll on the drums.

Goddamn. Does something happen in this song or can I give up after 3 minutes?


Edit: Needs more barrell rolls.

I dig the groove. There's a lot of space in this tune, too, and it could probably benefit from some more elements - there's plenty going on with the drums and the bass, but the ambient soundscape backing that is a little sparse.

The break in the middle "barrelroll" is awesome. The way it builds is really pleasing...there's a nice resolution there.
