TF2/Steam Patch

Another shittly timed patch brought to you by the morons at Valve & Steam.

Why the fuck don't these idiots do something right for a change..

1. Release the patch during a less played time .. aka NOT fucking 6pm PST/9pm EST
2. Release the god damned TF2 SDK so people can make legit maps
3. Have a source of contact to correct SHITTY bugs/speak to the community about bugs/patches/fixes/server issues.
4. Let servers have control over FF, Respawn Times, etc (beating a dead horse here)



Team Fortress 2 Update Released

Updates to Team Fortress 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:

* Improved paged pool memory tracking
* Fixed crash on importing spray logo that claimed to be a valid jpeg file, but wasn't
* Fixed Medic's uber-charge stats tracking
* Fixed a bug in scoring Engineer building destruction
* Engineers no longer earn points for using their own teleporters
* Freezepanel hud improvements now trigger on usage of the "jpeg" command
* Fixed Spies exploit enabling them to attack while disguising, without losing disguise
* Fixed Spies being able to attach sappers through thin walls
* Fixed several melee weapon switching exploits
* Fixed exploit that allowed players to teleport with the intelligence
* Fixed a client crash related to MP3 playing
* Improved client handling of stats when a connection couldn't be made to the stat servers. Fixes several cases of stat loss

I haven't seen this update to my knowledge... :huh:

Last one I saw was a couple days ago. Just checked with steam and I'm up to date.

im pist they fixed the melee exploit... i used that while scouting so much

Oh get fucking over it.

That exploit was a game breaker, it allowed spy's to backstab without losing their disguise.

I'm happy with this patch, and with the fact that we continue to get patches.

It speaks highly of valve, and frankly, I ALMOST feel bad for not stepping up to the plate to support their work more in the past.

The patch went into the right direction. these things needed to get fixed asap. a new exploit i seen is on gravel pit were u can set up a telaporter under ground and engineers set up there century's under the ground outside the spawn point. I banned someone 2 days ago for it.

and when the patch came out the majority were in the sfx server so obviously we didn't get it. Although I had some friends who had a couple problems
