<<this isnt done yet, so posting it maybe will force me to finish>>
For those who love pvp and check out vids... or for those just curious... let's start tracking and talking about these vids. DONT WATCH THE STREAMS. Download the real vids.
Some general guidelines, not rules, for posting shit:
- Mention the team setup (i.e. warrior-lock-pally) and point of view.
- Dont post some shit from somebody with a scrub rating who's just getting big crits in BGs or World PvP
Teh Cow & Teh Pro - 2v2
(druid and mage)
Kzn4 - Top5 5v5 in the BG9 of Europe (http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=43256)
One of the more entertaining videos out there. Watch them arena and have a funny duel. The druid isnt 100% perfect, but they are still pretty amazing.
Kzn4 - 5v5
(a top5 5v5 in Europe - mage pov)
Kzn4 - Top5 5v5 in the BG9 of Europe (http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=43256)
Mostly S2 footage, i think.
Fairly good movie.
Spartans - 3v3
(warrior, lock, pally)
Spartans 3v3 (http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=46009)
Good entertainment here. Shitty UI tho. Cant see targets, cast bars, etc. Fuckin warriors.
Another BG5 team, showing outstanding skill with a classic 3s setup. The only good vid i've found so far with this setup. Fairly solid setup, but losing tracking since the pally nerds and rise of the druids. Decent vid, shows a real aggressive style and lots of adapting. Unfortunately, it's not all against good teams.
Highlight is the last fight where "highest rated in the world" mage, Papashlapa, fucks up and let's them get a ressurection off. Fuckin asshole.
Ragdolled/Kollektiv - 5v5
(mostly warrior/mage/shaman/priest/pally)
Kollektiv - Rag Dolled (http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=45050)
One of the best teams around, from BG9, this is a must-see video. You can really see everything going on, since his UI shows party targets and what everybody is casting.
Watch them beat folks like Pandemic with a classic 2345 setup. Notice 1) their precision in coordinating interrupts and CC, 2) they adaptation during harder fights.
DrakeDog 7
(solo warlock, mostly destruction)
Drakedog 7 (http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=42581)
This video is one of the most entertaining out there. NO, he's not that good. Yes, he kinda sucks (spell locking totems and warriors lawl). It's still fuckin fun to watch, tho. This is the only generic "big clips highlight reel" video i'd even remotely be interested in, cuz of the quality editing and entertainment.
Wanted Midgets - 2v2
(2v2 mage and lock - lock pov)
Wanted Midgets - 2vs2 qualification (http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=44348)
I really like this video. The production, music, action, everything.
If anything, it's pretty convincing proof that at least a few europeans have decent taste in music. For that alone it makes it one of the most significant downloads on the internets
2 guys from Nashwan put on a great show here, with one of the more fun 2v2 combos out there. Fairly clean UI with dotimer, necrosis, simplecombatlog and what looks like the old perl units. They run a training session here on how to handle the mechanics of this setup, with all the matches appearing to be from Euro Season1 '07 qualifiers.
Notice how fast those totems go down in the 3rd fight.
Sazor - 2v2 and 3v3
(spriest/rogue & druid/spriest/rogue)
Sazor/Trickery Arena PVP 2300+ (http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=47468)
Pure evil out of BG5.
This vid kinda reviews the general strats they use, for clarity.
One of the "dtfw" crew who currently dominate BG5 (malganis). They are part of the arthas/tichon (notorius) migration and are insane, coordinating to practically take over most brackets among their members and alts. Pro team sellers. Pro gamers.
Death & Decay Preview - 5v5
(warrior-lock-shaman-priest-pally)
Death_and_Decay_3.wmv - FileFront.com (http://files.filefront.com/Death+and+Decay+3wmv/;8861466;/fileinfo.html)
Death & Decay vsCapslockcrew . Lock POV. Witness the "Devastating Mind Control." :D
2345 with lock variation against same setup. These are basically 2 of the top 5 teams from BG9 (ironically, filled with BG5 transfers).
Team Pandemic (sck) - 5v5
(Warrior/Mage/Hunter/Priest/Pally & Warrior/Rogue/Mage/Priest/Pally - pally POV)
Power Trip - Sck (http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=37803)
Older movie from S1 showing one of the best teams (arguably the best). Starring TW'r "Reznap."
This movie really started off the craze of high-end arena teams showing how it's done, and not just posting highlight clips.
Team Pandemic (quals) - 5v5
(warrior/mage/hunter/priest/pally - war POV)
Power Trip 5v5: First Week Qualifiers (http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=39827)
"Power Trip" goes to the tourney quals...
Watch noktyn show precisely how a skilled warrior handles himself against solid opposition. Pandemic switched to a classic "2345" setup since that time, using warr-mage-eshaman-priest-pally. What most impresses me from these caliber teams is how they keep safe positionally, and dont stick mindlessly to one strategy (i.e. the keep poking until they line up an opportunity or find a weakness to exploit).
Nielyo - 3v3 & 2v2 & 5v5 & duels
(rogue-lock-druid & rogue/lock & rogue-2lock-priest-druid)
Neilyo8-2.4k+ All Brackets (http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=47099)
This 3v3 combo is so fuckin OP... :D
Some really great games out of BG9. This is like Rogue 101, for those interested. The 2v2 where he schools xecks = fuckin classic. Check out the rest of his videos. WarcraftMovies.com - World of Warcraft Movies (http://www.warcraftmovies.com/viewauthor.php?id=8057)
Scrub Nation - 3v3
(mage-lock-priest)
SCRUBNATION: Not full Merc Arena PvP 3v3 2.1k+ (http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=47585)
This is classic. Priest POV.
3 guys in shit gear hit 2100+ with raw skill. This combo is very, very nasty although the coordination requirements are pretty steep. It isn't easy but when played well it's absolutely OP. I had the pleasure of going about 40-4 with this setup before the mage quit. WTB mage. :(
Also see Intox for this setup from mage pov Foredoomed presents: IntoX 3n3 Arena (http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=44883)
Hafu & Kasumi - 2v3
{warrior, druid, and lol )
2v3 Resto Druid / Warrior Arenas (http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=44738)
Yea, warrior + druid isnt OP at all.
Ok, so this doesnt seem to be against top rated teams or anything, but it's still very entertaining and shows how restro druids can dominate arena.
Toy Soldiers - 5v5
(warrior, mage, lock, pally, priest)
Toy Soldiers - 5vs5 (http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=48106)
Mage POV. The worse music imaginable. :boogie:
This euro team shows how to play this setup really nicely. If the mage/lock are coordinating really well, and the warrior keeps the enemy guessing and then lines up the right target for full burst... this setup is one of the nastiest out there. It requires more coordination than most, though.
Harbingers - 3v3
(rogue-mage-priest ???)
Priest 3v3/5v5 bg9 (http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=47828)
This is just pure coordination.
They play this combo so damned well, among the BG9 competition.
Sejta from Knockout - 5v5
(hunter pov)
2600 Hunter 5on5, Sejta from Knockout (http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=48729)
Pretty nice video.
Shitty codec, so wait for the proper DL if you want.
