WoW Forums -> Important: Season 2 Team Qualification (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.co m/thread.html?topicId=26497 98359&postId=26810876006&sid=1#0)

While the date for the end of Season 2 has not yet been announced, we wanted to let everyone know beforehand about a change to the requirements for a team to be counted towards the total teams considered for the end of season rewards.

Our goal with this change is to remove teams from being counted that could not already be eligible for the end of season rewards. By not counting them we’re effectively limiting the pool of teams that are added up before calculating the final 0.5% for the end of season rewards.

The requirements for a team to be counted (both requirements must be met):

* The team must have played at least 20 games during the season.
* The team must have at least one player that has played in 20% or more of the total games for that team.

As the requirement to be eligible for the end of season rewards is also 20% participation for the entire season, this overlap merely ensures that teams that have active and eligible members will be counted.

All the calculations for 0.5% are out the window. If you never saw: Arena Junkies - Arena Title Calculator (http://www.arenajunkies.com/calculator/)

We cannot determine how many 1500 teams there are, or generally how many teams there are with under 20 games - because Armory is capped at 5000 teams and in most cases there are over 5000 teams above 1500.

The good news is... a lot of Top 0.5% teams that dont belong up top will either not be counted or have to play games in the coming weeks. Time to rape their asses. :D

The Armory only tracks the top 5000 or so teams, so you cannot investigate the 1450-1550 teams in 2v2 and 3v3 for the most part and count how many are getting cut.

However, you can probably check for your 5v5 bracket.

Do two things.

Get a rough count of the # of 1500 teams by browsing around. Then sort by # of wins and start at the bottom, working your way back. You'll have to basically count by 20 per page, as teams share ratings in mass.

I concluded that out of the ~7300 teams on BG5 5v5 bracket, at least 2000 will be deemed inactive as things stand. This means that instead of the Top 36 getting gladiator, only the Top 25ish will get gladiator.

There's like 30k+ 2s teams in Ruin.

I know this because a guy knocked a 2s team down to 869 rating (yes, 869) and was ranked like 33k or something retarded.

Gladiator will always be easily obtained from 2s, even with the standards.

^ they keep a good tracking of lowest teams and calculations there.

However, that doesnt account for the removal of inactive teams. For me, i dont have an active 2v2 so im gonna have to find somebody and give it a quick run.
