Verite Rendition Always Gets His Man

If you were on last night and in the TW chat channel, you no doubt heard xiVexus and I conversing while trying and failing to eliminate an ISK farmer. That was a disappointment, but I'm not willing to let these slimeballs steal my rats and contribute to the RMT problems of EVE.

So this morning I hatched a plan to get him, as he once again (like a moron) returned to the same system to farm. I chased him out of the system while dropping a large bubble on the gate (it's a dead-end system) while having Nerclid sit in his carrier watching the gate. After chasing the farmer back in to the system, he got stuck in the bubble and started working on flying out of it.

At this point he ended up with a rack of fighters tailing him (Minmatar sadly; the worst thing to shoot Caldari) steadily beating down his shields. He made it out of the bubble and warped off, but the fighters keep tailing him until he figured out to cloak. Finally he made a run back to the gate and had to fly through the bubble again, and once again fighters were put on him. He made the fatal mistake of shooting at the fighters, which kept him from jumping when he reached the gate.

After breaking his shields the rest of him blew up fairly quickly. I even got the pod, as he still couldn't jump out via the gate. Altogether this was a giant time sink (I've probably put 5 hours in to trying to kill him) but the results are worth it. He dropped a notable amount of T2 gear, and even more was blown up.

Poor guy, that's 2 T2 fitted Ravens in the span of 6 hours.

I saw his corpse in that system today and he was in a new Raven, so I figured someone must have killed him. I didn't think it would be you guys. What were you doing up that far north?

Gulnar is ex-Razor, and a fucking amazing fleet commander. PRIK and ATF are both lucky to have him. He took a Razor/MM fleet in to M.Pire/Fatal space and won an engagement with a 36:1 rate of kills to deaths. Legendary. I credit him with single handedly breaking the will of the bobbit north before we even got to BKG.

Might send him a convo. and ask how he's enjoying ATF since I'm considering jumping as well.

the freighter was recently sold to purchase my Naglfar.
I don't think anybody would complain about me using that against YW though.

In either case, I'm taking a small break from EVE right now (i.e. logging in for skill changes only) in order to get some RL work done that has been piling up.
