Brain May has to be one of my favorite tones. As I stated in the other thread Ty got me hooked on mesa stuff so that would def in turn make me a fan of his tone hehehehe Just listen to the way his Mesa sounds during the song "complain" and that sums up the mesa sound for me. I also love Nuno Bettencourts sound his tone was always underrated but he had in my eyes the perfect trade off between funk, rock, blues, and shred... his rig was extremely versatile.

i always thought fear factory had an awesome heavy distortion tone, but of course the best tone ever created was by Boston. Anyone who says otherwise is just a big dicksucking homo ;D
