video lag issue

My lappy specs-

Vista 32
Intel Core 2 Duo
8600 GT DDR2
2gig RAM
5200 rpm 160 Gig

Specs that allow me to play Farcry, Doom 3, HL2, Oblivion, maxed out and get smooth frame rate, but on Tribes 2 it's another story.

Something interesting to note is that servers with more people tends to make the problem worse, even though I may just be looking at a wall. It also seems like it is non existent on servers with one or fewer.

Anyone have any idea's? No it is not internet lag; simply not possible. Also it is too consistent; like clock work.

Do you know of a free program that would make this easy, or happen to have the command lines used to do this? When it comes to computers, my one weakness it command lines; I just can't figure them out.

Create a text file, paste this, change the extension to .bat (e.g. tribes.bat)
CD C:\Dynamix\Tribes2\GameDa ta\
start /affinity 1 /abovenormal Tribes2.exe -online -mod Classic
pause

For DT:
CD C:\Dynamix\Tribes2\GameDa ta\
start /affinity 1 /abovenormal dt.exe -online -mod Classic
pause

(you don't need the pause)
(This assumes you put your Tribes in C:\Dynamix\Tribes2\GameDa ta\

BLARGY!!!! It still is happening. I guess I will just reinstall it and see where that gets me.

T2 sucks on Vista on all currently released nvida drivers (including the betas).

Infact less than half the fps compared to the same spec on XP.

Ouch, so I'm not alone. :/
