I dont know how many of you are into the soft, punk, alt rock of the last couple years.

But my favorite band just announced they will be doing a farewell tour at the end of the year and I might not be able to see them ever.

All three albums from the Victory label are amazing. To me, they are all innovative works. This is really my first encounter with my favorite band leaving. I dont know how to cope. Should I listen to them heavily until they just get annoying or stop and move on?

I really believe they ended prematurely. Their last album started to pick up speed but I guess thats the way it goes.

Anyone here know of this band. I would love to discuss and everything.\

peace- jtj

wow, I knew it was someone in the band but I didnt know it happened while on tour.

And I didnt know Punchline included a memory of him in his lyrics. Punchline is another one of my favorite bands.

I think im gonna start listening to Bayside, see if I like it. Its just that Spitalfield's sound was so unique and different, I dont know why I but I cant stop listening to them.

Do you think Victory Records fucked them over, or spital decided that they werent filling venues and stopped?

edit: kill the drama was on there first album. To me Spital's sound was consistent through all three albums

bayside is awesome

'masterpiece' from their first album is what got me started on them, i like pretty much all of their songs though but their sound has changed

the lyrics from their newest album (the walking wounded) are...more mature i guess you'd say, a better perspective

the music is great too (i'd give recommendations but honestly...all the songs are good to me)

as for spitalfield, i didn't even hear about them until a few months ago, i think they just called it quits because if they didn't make it big by now, they weren't going to

kill the drama is on "remember right now" but according to wikipedia "faster crashes harder" Spitalfield - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spitalfield#Albums) was released before that

other websites have its release date in 2004 Spitalfield : Faster Crashes Harder - Listen, Review and Buy at ARTISTdirect (http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/store/artist/album/0,,2869024,00.html)

i don't know...but hey, there's 4 albums so...cool
