Arena addons?

hit 70 with my mage recently and testing the waters on my guilds alt alt 5v5 team ... so far they recommended proximo. anyone have any other suggestions? i already have xperl to track who is targeting what.

im thinking of:
- enemy cooldowns tracking
- enemy diminishing returns tracking
- color coded (by class) icons/arrows above player's heads (tribes style)
- integrated player/team knowledge base that syncs offline with the armory (ya i doubt this exists, i plan on doing it myself if it doesnt). this would be useful in determining enemy info perhaps before the match even starts.

and anything else anyone finds useful

The only arena specific addon I use is arena master. That's all I think you should really need that is arena specific

P.S. I'm pretty sure all of those functions can be easily duplicated by proper use of roger wilco

Yeah, get some skill noobs. Just have each person speak their combat log out onto Roger Wilco and you've got the same information, just in aural rather than visual format.

That one has a lot of information. Cooldowns, enemy spellcasts, etc.

my mental response time for visuals is about 10ms as opposed to several seconds after parsing whatever is said on vent past all the game audio and my own music... and i cant play without my tunes (loud)! :p:

Proximo does everything Live Frames / Arena Frames does, but does it better, with more customization, and more neat options (like defining right-click abilities).

They are all similar. AM is the simplest. Gladiator is perhaps most popular atm. Proximo could be the best but it's buggy and bloated. Arena Unit Frames is arguably the best info.

Your team oughta be capable of figuring out who's on the other team and how to play them. Relying on some fuckin addon to do that is bullshit and you know it!

ya i know tse, its low priority... but i want to have all my toys handy :D

It will lag you and you'll make bad decisions based on stupid armory data instead of paying attention to the game and learnign to adapt on the fly.

All I used were Natur Enemy Castbar and Arena Live Frames. It's all you need really besides Vent. Anything more than that (like linking to armory BS) is kinda nubby, no offense..

I like the simple frames with class icons, too.

I use gladiator as main targetting, but they i combine with Arena Unit Frames which you might like.

That's blown up, but notice how it shows their debuffs, casts and targets. I keep this below Gladiator. :brows:

(i use 2 mostly cuz they all go buggy occasionally and i like a backup)
