The change is pretty subtle, but if you listen to it side-by-side with the original you'll hear the difference.

I can play electric guitar, bass, and trumpet. I can also mix enough to get by, but I am by no means a pro at it.

Drums are provided so that everyone has the same starting point to work with. As stated in the other thread, you may re-arrange, remix, or layer over the drums if you like. However, please do not duplicate parts or otherwise lengthen the song.
Please pick your own teams, with a maximum size of 3 and minimum size of 2 people (otherwise it's not a team). Let's try to have teams formed by the start of next week (Aug 13th). I'd like to see at least 4 teams.
*As the number of participants grows, so will the maximum team size.

Keep in mind each team is going to want at least one person that can mix, too.

Hey guys. Who needs a lead and rythym player? I can also sequence keys although I would rather be on a team with a keyboardist. I am also a decnt singer if we would like to add lyrics. PM me if interested.

I wouldn't mind teaming up with Old Skul, although I am not sure he has expressed interest in this. Oh yeah, I can mix as well, although I am pretty novice at it.

hey im down to work with yah, i can mix if needed, ive got a shitload of time before the semester starts so this could be good.

let me know. ive got a sort of song idea for this, might not be much like the epic that was the last composition, but itll be a nice mixup in genre. trumpet could be critical too. im thinking a sort of dispatch sound. funky bass lines/acoustic guitar/clean solos

also maybe considering adding vocals. let me know if you wanna work with me.

Sounds good, the last thing I want is an epically epic song like last time. I'll probably try to sneak in some of my little experimental touches of course, but I'll try not to go overboard.

What do you guys think is a fair amount of time to allot for song creation? All teams should try to submit their songs on the same day if possible. How about we shoot for September 3rd? That's a solid 3 weeks.
