I can't imagine the Warglaives remain as they are now. From the few fights with WWS reports after the set was completed, it has ~40-45% uptime. It's basically a second DST that's tied to your 109.5 DPS weapons. I'd love it, but it's just a *tad* over the top.

The DPS that guild puts out is fucking crazy. They're top5 rdps for almost every TBC encounter and put us to shame.

They also did a TK run last week and killed Solarian with only 1 adds phase and no arcane soaks.

I remember writing spreadsheets to do more fury warrior DPS back in Naxx when I used to raid, but I also remember being the only one doing it.

I'm a 70 rogue, and before that the highest DPS I ever saw was 2.3k on Teron (which I saw a day ago).

It's not min-maxing at all, that is typical gear set up and parsed from an actual combat log.

I think the highest I've ever sustained was like 1.6k dps on Morogrim Tidewalker and that's a long ass 10 minute fight, but my gear back then wasn't as good as it is now. But yes, that is nuts. Very slightly skewed though, it was only a 2.5 minute fight. My guild is only 4 bosses from Illidian, and I have those bad boys waiting for me ;)

That's probably my best personal DPS, but of course it's Essence of Souls and pretty damn skewed. I suppose it could be higher if spriests didn't have to waste the first 5 seconds putting dots up but I'll take 1988dps and like it. That also had 6 players above 2k dps.

I sat out of Akama this week so we didn't get WWS of it (i'm the only one inguild that ever records for some reason..) but they said it was our cleanest kill ever. Last night was full of sloppy kills (like a dozen deaths on Archimonde, 2 early and a ton between 12 and 10%), but we 1shot 5 of 6 bosses we faced. Archimonde, Naj'entus, Supremus (http://www.lossendil.com/wws/?report=rvpwnokpbiomk), Akama, Bloodboil all were 1shots but Teron Gorefiend (http://www.lossendil.com/wws/?report=jz2ayz5vpkwoq&s=2099-2403) of all bosses took 4 attempts thanks to bad luck with who became Vengeful Spirits. When your worst paladin, a hunter raiding from china and a warrior clicking on the pet bar get chosen it makes for a long end to an otherwise good night.

edit: and yeah it's a ton of theorycrafting, raid stacking and min-maxing that allows guilds to pull off these numbers. I know our guild personally stacks raids based on previous WWS parsings we've had in order to (try to) improve week to week. Almost everyone in the guild also sockets and enchants their gear as well as chooses their talents in an effort to maximize raid effectiveness. Some people will suck and have poor awareness regardless of gear and spec though, and every guild has atleast one of those.

I suppose it'd help if some of our best DPS contributors didn't get the loot they want and forever sitout on encounters. A couple of our best rogues and one of our best hunters sit out alot, when you trade a player able to pull 1500-2k dps for another who can barely pull 1k dps (doing this for 2-3 players some fights) it hurts - but this way loot doesn't get sharded as often.

I wish we could get more Blades of Infamy let alone Warglaives. Nerd vodka loot tables!

i'm on frostmane...we have one alliance and one horde guild that are doing all right...but that's about it. if i don't find a more progressive guild idk if i'll be able to maintain interest until northrend..especially since we won't even have cleared ssc and the eye by then

Even a stupid hunter can do a lot of DPS in PvP. DPS in any situation is, by itself, not an indicator of anything other than rate of damage.
