I got lazy in college with my physical appearance and have decided now that I have a fair amount of time after work to be active that I want to start working out again. I'm not looking to gain incredible strength, I've been down that road playing football. My probably always resorts to food as many of you probably have the same problem. I am trying to come up with a daily routine that will allow me to portion my meals while getting all the right sources of vitamins and minerals.
I will be able to eat 5 smaller meals a day and I'm basically looking for a fill in the blanks with good items to eat at each meal.
This will be my basic routine. I want something simple everyday for each of these periods I know many of you taking this Fitness Forum seriously will have some ideas as to how I can fill in where i am drawing blanks or lacking taste diversity.
Breakfast - 5-6am
oatmeal
hard boiled eggs
Morning - 9-10am
banana
apple
Lunch - 12-1pm
Afternoon - 6-7pm
1/2 breast of chicken
Exercise 7-9pm
Dinner - 9-10pm
tuna fish
Alaskan salmon
