Heroics

I've started raiding Kara here as of late on my lock. I want to get the trinket and the +51 shadow dmg off hand from doing heroics. Which intance or set of instances are the easiest to do get the badges? Also im a tailor so getting nethers are good as well.

If you want badges, easiest 3 are from the first 3 bosses of Mechanar (2 minibosses, and the first real one). I do that run almost every night with some guys and it literally takes 30 minutes.

Mechanar and Slave Pens are probably the two easiest.

shattered halls isn't exactly easy but with a good group you can get 5 badges in about an hour and a half


and don't waste badges on buying nethers, just clear a heroic instance and the last boss will always drop one

Slave Pens is quick with a good group. Mech is easy enough for the 5 badges. Labs can be fast if you have a good group.

But I've never had a good underbog run, ever.

Why not? Once you get the two or three items, there's nothing else to spend them on, besides FR gear.

And since FR gear is used for absolutely nothing in the game, might as well burn them on nethers!

This coming from a guy who says Epic Mount isn't helpful.I've killed Archimonde 3 times now and should be starting on Shahraz tomorrow or Monday. Unless Illidari Council or Illidan himself require fire resist alot of people simply wasted badges (including atleast half of my own guild). And why would I need an epic mount when summoning stones are much faster? When I grind mobs I don't fly all over a zone, I park my ass in a camp and mindlessly kill anything that moves until my bags are full.

edit: I have heard of guilds using FR for Al'ar and I'm sure some people wear it for Archimonde if they're blind and/or unaware of their surroundings, from my experiences though I haven't had to wear a single piece of resist gear in all of TBC (aside from Frost Resist when we killed Sapphiron to get 2x atiesh).
