Does anyone here work out at home?

The reason I ask is that although Im a gym rat, I'll be working nearly 60 hours a week in the fall, leaving time for the gym non existent if I want to maintain a social life. Im considering investing in an adjustable bench with the standard mix of barbells and dumbells, with jogging for cardio and maybe sneaking into the gym once on the weekends to do some legwork. I havent tried yet, as I havent decided what kind of equipment to purchase, but I think I might be able to design an OK program with limited equipment.

Does anyone here have a home program they'd like to share?

i workout in my apartment. I only have dumb bells and a bench in here though, so it limits the activity. Even still i get sore after an hour or 90 minutes of lifting. It probably wont be building much mass though. Cost me 40 for the bench, and then whatever the weights were.

Back when i used to workout at home in highschool, i did mainly pushups and crunches, with a 30 minute running thing every night. Again, didnt get big, but got cut and lean.

But if you want to use a bar, thats cool too. I'm just too damn broke to get one + weights (and there isnt any room for the bar)

you can do lunges and calf raises and get a decent workout on your legs with just dumbbells, if you were goign to get to go on the weekend id use the equipemnt there to be able to do your compound excercise that you cant do at home, like squat/benchpress/deadlift etc.

how much time are you really saving by not working out at the gym

2 or 3 hours a week maybe? or do you have no gyms anywhere near you
