what is that shit?
i've always stayed away from taking anything besides what i have in my normal diet, even protein supplements
but a lot of people at my gym drink this stuff before they work out to get a better workout or something, supposed to give you more energy etc etc
i've considered getting some and trying it.
my question is, wtf is actually in this? i know it has creatine, but what else? is it just a temporary energy booster (i.e. just creatine and caffeine and shit) or does it contain all kinds of other supplements and protein and junk that i don't want to be taking

Its a NO2 product. Nitric oxide. Yeah, basically it pumps you up for a workout... In my opinion, its just an overpriced alternative to caffiene, but some people swear by it.
Bomba 07-15-2007, 10:49 PM contains 100mg caffiene per scoop, 1g creatine ethyl ester per scoop, not sure how much argine per scoop and a of b12. it gives alot of energy and increased circulation but it isnt the greatest thing for u.

I have heard from many people it's a bunch of bullshit. I have no idea, I never was interested in it.
i mean if it gives me a more intense workout then it might help to go hard for a few extra rounds on the bag and stuff
but not sure if it would be any different than drinking a redbull or some espresso
what are the bad side effects bomba?
I think if you're looking to get a bit more out of your workout, go with the creatine over this stuff.

mainly it makes your heart work harder, vasodilators + caffiene. definatly has way more punch than a redbull / expresso.
I have always heard from people not to trust it, it's just caffeine, it's useless, etc.
But it has always worked for me. It helps me most with endurance. If I'm maxing something out at around 4-5 reps, I can go take NO Xplode the next workout and get 7-8 reps. This isn't just a one time thing either, this has been happening for almost a year. It just seems to give me more energy.
i'm looking at using it for muay thai/boxing though, not lifting
so the already naturally elevated heart rate would be something to consider

i dont think any time of supp like this is good for a cardio type workout.
fuck all this shit it makes me feel wierd
id never take anything that increased my heart rate while rolling, just water.
I've read something about it not being useful at all for cardio
I wouldn't be surprised if most of its use is as a placebo
I used it for a while and I felt a little more pumped up for workouts but definitely not worth the $
Familiar 07-16-2007, 03:15 AM IIRC the product is stupidly expensive. If you are worried about energy that much I say start a creatine cycle...
FUSION 07-16-2007, 01:05 PM Ive tryed this for muay thai and it made me feel like shit.
All it did was give me more mental focus thats it.
noobfactorNF 07-16-2007, 11:37 PM This is great for heavy lifters. Its going to put you in the zone, you wont be distracted by bullshit, youll have a fast and hard workout, you may notice some increase in strength, be it placebo or not, I buy this product and am close to finishing the 3rd Tub of it.
Important info, most people dont understand. They think taking a supplement like NO or Creatine or protien will drastically increase your gains alone. You have to train right, eat right, and get enough rest for full potential.
I also reccomend a creatine product, something easy would be Cellmass made by BSN aswell.
of i take NO xplode am i going to end up looking like you and have to PS my face out of every pic
Darkstrand 07-17-2007, 02:02 AM It's hard for me to take noobfactor seriously sometimes
noobfactorNF 07-17-2007, 02:24 AM oh didlesticks
Bomba 07-17-2007, 03:19 AM of i take NO xplode am i going to end up looking like you and have to PS my face out of every pic
LOL.
anyway its worth a try atleast once.
sargonnas9 07-17-2007, 10:44 PM 4th gen creatine over no2 supplements anyday, but I've heard great things about no2 helping people move more weights.
If you haven't had either, do yourself a favor and have a friend buy the stuff for you, pour the two powders (no2 come in powder??) in separate containers, and have you try them each out seperately for a week each with a week in between of nothing.
BeLiaL 07-18-2007, 12:10 AM you should be taking creatine along with a pump product... the amount of creatine in the pump isn't enough to make a difference. creatine is also best taken after a workout. i've never tried noxplode, but i've heard it's fairly weak compared to newer products like superpump250 or vaso
