pretty basic, my question is: Is when you sleep during the day really make as big of a difference as long as youre getting the right amount of sleep?
for example, I go to bed really really really late, like 4am-6am, but ill still get 7-9 hours of sleep on a daily basis. Just wondering if this is effecting my body or healing process/whatever else.
I know your body has the internal clock thing that wants to sleep when its night, but uh. I guess mine is broken.

if you are getting 7-9 and are getting 36-48 bettween specific lifts then you are healing just well.
However i've heard things about dealing w/ stress worse/ blood pressure higher when you do this kind of thing.
Your body also produced melatonin durring the day and other vitamins from the sun. Make sure its all there.

I take my multivitamins daily and i spend plenty of time inthe sun running, and I checked my blood pressure with a pump and its perfect, so I guess everythings alright, thanks for the post it helped a lot. :D
Also, I have zero stress, but maybe if i did have something to stress over, I wouldnt handle it as well or something, dunno. never been one to really stress out though. thanks again
If you can get enough sleep and maintain your mental health without being diurnal, I don't think it's really a problem. As long as you get the rest, your body can recover. I think the biggest problem for night owls is that light naturally increases the body's alertness and metabolism unless you're really adjusted to the night schedule. A lot of people find sunlight also is a big factor in maintaining a positive mood and outlook, which is important.
