Anyone check this thing out? It's one of the new products introduced at E3. I just thought I would throw it out here since I know some people in TW have used video games in creative ways to lose weight.

That's pretty cool. However that would seem more appropriate for someone who is very out of shape.

Oh yeah, silly me. I forgot everyone on TW are hulking Andonis' who date supermodels. No one here would ever be catagorized as "very out of shape".

While it's true there are some very out of shape people, I don't even know that any of them are out of shape enough for this to even be beneficial. You're better off with a yoga dvd.

Now if they can just convert that into a snowboard-shaped object...

no matter how in-shape you are this is going to raise your heart rate more than playing a regular video game.

You lose weight by keeping your heart rate up and burning calories, if they can find a way to make a paperweight get your heart rate up then more power to them.
VVVVVV Cardio! :twak: VVVVVVV

You wanna play a game that involves motion, get DDR. That's actually what made me start liking exercise. I lost a lot of weight on better diet + DDR. I quit playing because it got monotanous with no new mixes coming out and all the arcades removing the good machines. I was kind of miserable without exercise, my mom saw this and as my Giftmas gift she got me a year long gym membership. But that's me off on a tangent.
I can't really see this Wii fit as even entertaining though. At least DDR (even light mode because the beginners mode is a crock of shit that will just make you worse at the game) has a fun element to it and some of the home versions have little mini games that make it even more fun.

Looks a little boring... They need a general larger mat format, more like the DDR layout, that could integrate into other shit...
