This is everything that is wrong with the mentality of most guitar players. The focus is way too much on proving yourself to others by playing "difficult" songs instead of on writing and playing your own music. I'll give appreciation to the person whoever wrote the canon rock rendition, but everybody else needs to either come up with their own stuff or at least stop taping yourself playing the same goddamn song.

I agree with Bomberman, I stopped wanking a long time ago. The only time I bother to learn someone else's music now is if I like the chords and want to translate it to my own songs.
