Granted but you if you do not play the game and only listen to what people tell you that does not make you an expert on the game. If he said that he didn't like it fine over and done with, but he went on to expound on points that in a few cases illustrated his ignorance of how the game is played. Thats what bugged me, saying tanks are too powerful, missleD replaces disk d, etc. If it was just his personal opinion that he did not like the game it's one thing but to go into to such detail about gameplay when he's obviously wrong...well he's just asking for someone to point that out to him

Everything is slower.
Everything, even the lights feel heavier.
Gravity seems to have so much of an effect. It just wieghs everything down.
I guess maybe it just has to much realism in it.
I dunno.
Im playing it now because its the only game recently released thats any good at all.

I'll pilot you over in a havoc if you want to HO (if I ever lick this perma redjack thing) I like running a ferry service (go over drop off go back pick up more) and I'm not a bad pilot. Just say HEY NULL I NEED A RIDE and I'll be there ASAP

I'm not gonna search right now, but they've said that in several interviews, and it may be on their messageboard. They're going to do their own game after they get the V12 in shape.

We had to remove the Tribes 2 specific code for Won.net, Miles sound driver, etc. We also had to change the bit encoding, so hackers couldn't mess up the Tribes 2 game. After the V12 ships, we will be making enhancements to the engine, working on our e-commerce platform, and starting our internal game."

This is true too...however in this game HO is not the only way of effectively taking a base out. I wish everyone would understand that. If the old base rapers would give it a chance, there are LOTS of extremely FUN ways to take out bases. Satcheling and Cloak O are an absolute blast (given the right competition).

Nah...thats not true. At least not any more. Even on non vehicle maps you can get across the map fairly quick. The main problem here is the maps are too big. We really need some new high quality maps.

Thats not true...It seems to me that lights regenerate energy much faster then in T1.
Again, I think the 2 major problems here are:
A) The maps
B) The competition you are playing against
Have you ever played on a T1 pub on a server with crappy players? Where you either have one team owning another, or everyone playing D. Thats what a lot of T2 pubs are like, many people are mistaking this for an inherently bad game-this is untrue.
You can tell how fun this game can be by playing against high competition. So far every scrim we've had has been so much fun. Playing Damnation against Kore the other day made me realize that this game can be faster paced then T1. It was just 14v14, but it was CRAZY action. I'd be willing to argue that it was faster paced than any SH cluster map I've ever played-it was awesome.

Ok. However, game development isn't the company's main function. To me it feels like the 4 of them are making an independent game and simply publishing it under their label. I realize that doesn't quite make sense, but that's the vibe I get.
Btw, I stick by suprise in the place of surprise. It's mispronounced and misspelled enough to have become its own word. :P
