Note: Yes, I have tried this before, but before PayPal was unavailable to me, and that resulted in at least one lost sale from a guy who couldn't read. If Mr. Data doesn't want to let me try again, then so be it.
The story so far: Well, I tried eBay a bit, about twice, I think. Two Nigerians. One was even so kind as to give me one hundred dollars for shipping and an address to a server that will update my paypal account when I send the shipment number.
From the auction:
Included are 2GB and 1GB memory sticks and the games Lumines and Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition. It comes with the original box and manual and headphones and anything else a new unit would come with. There is also a slew of strange accessories, like cases for the unit and various UMD cases, and there are also things like an external battery and a UMD cleaner. The picture below has them all in it, except for the USB cord, which is included as well.
The PSP comes with 1.50 firmware, and it's homebrew ready as far as I know. I, myself, did nothing but play old games on it. If the buyer wishes for me to upgrade the firmware to one of the custom ones in the scene on the internet, I would be more than happy to do it, for mine was on such a firmware before I downgraded it to make it more universal for an auction.
The PSP itself is functionally perfect, and it's nearly aesthetically perfect. There is a minor crack on the underside of the unit. I tried taking a picture of this crack, but it wouldn't show up; it's too small. Imagine playing the unit, then flip it so that you are looking at the thin side; it's on there. The screen has had a screen protector on it the entire time of my possession of the unit, and the previous owner told me he did the same, though there are a few scratches, which I saw the last time I had to apply a protector. None of them are visible when a protector is applied, though.
If you're curious why I don't want it anymore, I need to save up money for a bicycle.
Picture time!
