I would assume this is legitimate, but I cannot confirm since I am at work. :shrug: they could ask for a serial number.Im sure if somebody really wanted to con a free game they could scam the activex control or however they check.

Well they'll make it just hard enough that a casual user can't buck the system. I mean, I'm sure you could stick a radeon in your PC, get the games, then go back to whatever...but who knows.

Little hardware detection. It's not hard: some sites use it to recommend upgrades, like memorygiant.com.

After all the hype around Lost Coast I was rather dissapointed with how short it was, there's better single player add-ons that are community made. I think I played HL2 Deathmatch a whole 20 minutes before getting bored with it.

It lasted like 15 min, how could you not realise this?

Deathmatch of any kind is pretty lame..

I've read that the 2900 has all but been canceled for the most part, OEM card makers are taking a pass on it.
