ok first off I've had this laptop for about 2 years now. The harddrive recently died in it and i have no desire to fix it. I repeat, this laptop currently has NO harddrive. It has a windows xp home serial on the bottom and acer recovery discs, it did not come with a windows standalone cd.
here are the specs direct from laptop:
Acer 1804WSMi
Pentium 4 540 proc. with HT running at 3.2 with 1mb catch 800 fsb
17" wxga acer crystalbrite TFT LCD
ATI mobility radeon x600/128mb vram pci express
DVD-supermulti drive (DVD+- RW/DVD-RAM)
1GB ddr
bluetooth
802.11b/g wireless LAN
the native res is 1440x900. Along with 2 power adapters I have 2 batteries, both of which need to be re-conditioned becuase i haven't used them in awhile. (charge them and drain them completely the first few times using them).
As for performance, i played WoW completely maxed out in the graphics department and also BF2 at high settings and it ran fine.

it has a little remote that fits in the expansion slot for the front controls for movie watching. the burner works fine for a laptop drive. plenty of USB ports and a multi memory card reader on the side, though it doesn't have a compact flash slot for some reason . I'm looking for $550 OBO, I have an Eddie Bower soft case that will come with it. I can ship ups or fedex, insurance will be extra.
I prefer a money order but can work with paypal, personal checks will have to clear before i ship. I will not ship first under any conditions however.
