[help] website/blog, exposure, PR, etc.

Hey guys, my father has got a political blog I'm trying to help him promote. I've already done some search engine adds and blog search addings for his blog, but... Is there another way to get his blog out there? I'm looking for ways I haven't been logically been thinking of.

Check out HamptonRoads.com -- Your Best Guide to Life in Hampton Roads (http://www.hamptonroads.com). They have a fairly active blogging section there.

Also, one other way would be (depending on his political leanings) to see if he can't contribute to Port Folio Weekly (www.portfolioweekly.com) , where they will list his blog URL with any column he submits. The editor at Port Folio is Leona Baker.

He's a pretty well-known activist locally, and you can see some of the networking he's done via his website.
