Switching to War Mode

I just hit 50 AI. Yay!

Do I have to switch to war mode ASAP, or can I wait till just before I gather my funds?

If I wait for my 6hrs, then click War Mode just before collecting funds, will I still get the bonus grants?

Not sure but I think you should go to war mode soon as possible(?).

Atleast that is what I'm doing.

I dunno, this game seems a lot more economics-based than TW.net. Not to say it's a bad thing but given that it may be possible if you rush into wars you may end up going bankrupt and losing even if you win the war.

Hmm.. in war mode we're open for attack, correct? Our enemies might try to take us out while we're still weak in war mode.

Also, (and I doubt this is possibe) can you switch to war mode right before collection to double the grants. Then switch back to peace mode once you cash in? My guess would be that you can't enter/leave war mode arbitrarily.

The amount of extra money you make is not that much, you just double your grant income.

People should be focusing on building up population for taxes rather than hitting 50 AI.

Plus it seems that all the other alliances WANT us to switch to war mode. Something is fishy.

Just go war mode, not much point attacking new players who have basically nothing but lot of soldiers coming from other members from alliance to help.

not too mention Lunar wars has a morale type penaly called MS, so it would be dumb for them

Advice from a LW Vet, switch to war mode as fast as possible, it will pay off greatly in the long run. :D

Is it possible some of us can make our colonies are resource colonies, mainly designed to fuel the TW war machine?
