help please

I was workin on a map for about 6 hours today, and after one of the last saves it wont load the map anymore. I tried loading a similar mission from from that ted and it didnt work. Is the .ted file fucked now or can i access the map somehow?

I don't do any client-side mapping. Trying to get everyone to download them is asking a lot.

p.s. Make more backups.

Delete any screwy files in the temp directory and try again.

If that doesn't work, set
$console::logmode = "1";
in autoexec.cs, load up tribes with another map without starting the editor, then switch to your map. If Tribes dies read the console.log and see if any errors show up. You could possibly fix any errors with a text editor.

I hope you're mapping with a clean install of Tribes. Pick one up at Tribes0.com (http://www.tribes0.com) and move the .dsc and .mis files from your new map to the new install. They are the only files you should need for a server sided map. Most players won't download custom maps...

As a last resort you could manually move item positions from the old map to a new map file with a good text editor, but it's tedious.
