Do you plan to eventually do SLI? If you do that PSU isnt gonna cut it. Everything else looks good. The SLI power supply i would recommend (and bought for my new PC) is this one:

Newegg.com - PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 Quad - Copper EPS12V 750W Power Supply 90 - 264 V UL, ULC, CE, CB, RoHS - Retail (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E1681 7703008)

60 amps on a single +12v rail can run even 2 8800GTX's in SLI.

(If your not planning on sli then i wasted my time and your setup looks pretty good) :sunny:

Because the power supply is mounted in the bottom of the case you may need an extention cable for the 4pin motherboard power connector.

one of these

Newegg.com - Athena Power 4pin (P4ATX-12V Male) to 4pin (P4ATX-12V Female) Extension Cable Model Cable-AD09 - OEM (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E1681 2198005)

otherwise it looks good to me, kind of a high end budget pc - if you're not doing 1900+ res you could probably get just as many FPS using a 320meg card, some have had just as much luck overclocking an e6420 and reaching speeds that an e6600 can (around 3ghz).

Here's a good review of the case

Yeah, in the end it wasn't really so budget

The 640mb 8800 GTS is about the same price as 320mb one right now ($350 CAD). Same with the P182 costing nearly the same as the P180. This big sale is why I jumped on the PC.

I forgot to buy extenders, but the comments on the PSU on NCIX's website say that it works in a P180 without any. I'll just buy some from a local store if I need them. Not planning on SLI.

Also, don't care so much about mega-high resolutions, but I do want this to last. I'm still on a Athlon XP 2700+ / 9800 Pro / 1GB PC2700 system, which is 3.5 years old. I tend not to upgrade constantly.

Looks like I made a good choice :D

The extention cable is if you want to route that power lead behind the motherboard on the back of the case, otherwise you have to cross over the front of the motherboard over the video card.

I forgot to order mine so I'll just get some on the next newegg order I guess.

Yeah, but I was still under the impression that the cables are long enough for that. The store is a bit of a PITA to get to, but I'll just head over there if they're not.

"should" be fine, kind of depends on where the 4/8 pin is connected to the motherboard, mine is way up top to the rear close to the CPU, if my cable were any shorter it wouldn't reach, but it did.

I ran all my cables up the back of the case, the rubber straps they give you don't really hold the cables taunt enough to the case, I improvised my own with some cable ties, might not look like it from that angle but the cables are held very tightly against the case, no problem putting on the case side panel (after cutting the excess tie).
