I don't have the receipt, that's why i have to sell it to someone. I was thinking of taking it back to walmart, but I could really use the cash and not a giftcard

Master's my roommate. His 360 busted on him (got ring of death), so he bought one from walmart and did the ol' switcharoo (took back his old 360 with it's original box, and just kept the new working unopened one) - walmart/target/etc don't check serial's, the usual loop hole

date of purchase (for warranty purposes)?
how hard would it be to return to wal-mart if it broke (never returned anything without a receipt before)?

if it's not too much of a problem with wal-mart, i may just buy it.
