DELL INSPIRION 8500
System Board Dell Part Number :8K307
Internal Speakers do not work under Windows XP (all flavors) nor will they work under Dell Diagnostics but they will give PSA LCD failure beep code under Diagnostics.
External Speakers and headsets work fine under both Windows XP and Diagnostics.
I have removed all Drivers and reinstalled them, Tried 3 different Loads of XP, and replaced the speakers with a set of known working ones.
Inspection of the Board does not show any Physical Damage or Spillage.
Before i replace the system board can anyone think of something i missed or forgot to check?
