Comcast shows off Super Fast Modem

LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Comcast Corp. Chief Executive Brian Roberts dazzled a cable industry audience Tuesday, showing off for the first time in public new technology that enabled a data download speed of 150 megabits per second, or roughly 25 times faster than today's standard cable modems.

fios will only up their bandwidth packages (again) to compensate. yay me :)

It's comcastic!

FiOS is awesome. Wherever they go cable service improves dramatically.

I would pay double the price just to have a cable modem where I live.

i would pay double the price just so i get off my cable modem. twc-rr has terrible service. sure it's pretty fast, but holy crap the packet loss and pings are terrible after 8 pm. unplayable for online gaming. be careful what u wish for
