I had to reinstall my drivers today, so I got the newest ones from the NVIDIA website and installed them, however DXDIAG tells me that I am using the old ones from October even after I installed the November ones...
thoughts?

So yeah, I uninstalled the card, it reinstalled with a generic driver. I used the Drivercleaner. Reinstalled the 93.71 drivers, DXDIAG still tells me its the october version of the drivers.
Ideas?

Did you follow the intructions in drivercleaner's readme to the letter?

Using the old technique, after dn-loading new drivers(not installing them), goto Control Panel/Add&Remove and uninstall the nvidia drivers.. Reboot, do not follow on screen manager that may pop up[exit], but execute new dn-load of drivers...

Also, the latest drivers are NOT always the best for your card... You should run a profile/audit of your PC once a month and print it out so you have a record of what you have and use... Belarc - System Management For The Internet Age (http://www.belarc.com) ===> a free profile/audit is what I use most but there are 2 or 3 others out there that are good too... Lemme find the independent Nvidia forum site and they can help you...
