No agenda here. This was the top news item of the day when i searched for news. The only reason I post news at all, is I thought I could help the site in this way since I read so much news, especially gaming news for the last 22 years. Typically I'll try and pic the bigger story of the day, often the one you guys are most likely to enjoy or argue over. My goal is an article a day, and most of the time it''s strictly reposting other gaming news articles from other gaming news sites. I post more when I don't see others posting news.

Often in gaming news there are rumors. Many times they turn out to be true, sometimes they don't. Alot of bad news is being spewed currently about Sony. Sony has made a lot of enemies the last few years, of course they have many fans too. Nintendo and Sega suffered the same fate in earlier console wars. They got arrogant and ignorant, pissing of vendors and developers with their licensing fees and creating too many hoops to jump through for those that wanted to do business with them. Sony has just done the same thing.

In order to reverse the course of PS3, they will likely have to relaunch the platform. The cell processor is powerful, but they could've done better configuring it for gaming in the PS3, so a re-issue of the technology could help them alot, both in saving money for them, the consumer, and even giving PS3 more guns to compete/catch up with it's competition.

I'd have to say whoever posted this thread, is PS3 biased, probably a fanboi.
I've participated in every console war since the Atari2600?, (I think that was it), but have sat out this round. I don't own a Wii, XBox360, or PS3. It really doesn't matter to me which one wins. Currently, I see the XBox 360 as the "adult" console of choice, but thats just my opinion. The Wii seems to be winning the units sold department, but it's also much cheaper than it's two competitors.

I know I've said some mean things on TW at times, (guess it's my Andy Kaufman sense of humor), but what you see isn't always what you get. TW is just my interweb playground as it is most of yours. Alot of good stuff here, alot of cool people. So we got some freaks too. The bias in my posting gaming news is strictly in your head. Move along...

One company, on top of the gaming world, completely fucked up the launch/pricing/hardware? of a console that cost billions to market and begin producing.

It's less than stellar sales fiqures will continue to be the big story the rest of the year unless shit changes quick. Sorry TW is the first place you've heard this, perhaps you should check other news sites too for more positive stories about PS3. Their becoming few and far between. Second, I don't really care about the story. Just don't post bogus rumors as fact and use them as an argument against a company. Adding a question mark to a title implies a likely rumor. The idea that a PS4 is coming out next year.. well that's just bananas.
