Closed Beta begins for Tabula Rasa

Richard Garriotts Tabula Rasa is a massively multiplayer online (MMO) role playing PC game that places players in an epic sci-fi story where they will be challenged by dynamic and fast-paced adventures on alien worlds.

Garriott is best known for creating the best-selling Ultima computer game series, including the first commercially successful MMO game, Ultima Online.

This was originally slated to be an FPS type MMO, so those lucky enough to get into the Beta will be the first to find out.

Hmmm, I submitted these links in the "News" area of the forums via Firefox, usually when doing this using IE they don't show up here at the main article area. We need a delete/edit option here or at least some kind of timed editing/delete window.

Also, threads disappear in the "News" area of the forums when edited. You often have to edit submissions to get rid of the "rrnn" effect which seems to happen at the beginning and end of each paragragh...

I haven't followed this game as closely as I should. I was reading an article a while ago and it mentioned something about "instanced" maps or something to that extent. Is this going to be a kind of Guild Wars deal without monthly fees?

no there are monthly fees from what i know. supposed to be a bit of a fps mmo, but i've heard it still has auto aiming. ugh.
